October 31st

This day, I never can get into it, I just don't like it. I know that in some ways it can be innocent enough but I still cannot get into it. So, as usual, very last minute, to the second I came up with a brilliant idea for my boys. My cheerleaders and football player. They were such men about this, I was so impressed, they didn't even mind a flower in their hair. My football player, he was lovin' every minute of it.

After calling my sis and gripping about how I just HATE this day I had to call her back with tears of laughing because they were so stinkin' cute!

  2. Cute! My husband told us that trick-or-treating started by trying to keep kids out of trouble by giving them something to do. He tells the story better than I can, but that's what we celebrate - going out, fellowshipping with neighbors and doing something fun, instead of trouble. :)

  4. Oh my, and it's a moment they may never, ever live down. But I heart it! God bless you Marlece – way to get back at Halloween!

  5. I love your sense of humor and love that your boys got on board with you!! Fantastic costumes for them:). My momma hates Halloween too and I was raised never celebrating it in any way and she kept me home from school on Halloween. All that to say that I totally understand and respect where you are coming from. I think the Lord has led me in a different direction with Halloween simply to liberate me from some of junk in my church past. I still wrestle with my feelings about it all the time. Again, love the pic! :)
