The boys have been outside with the four wheeler and the sleds NONSTOP! They are having a blast, or should I say most of them are having a blast. Jordan? He is still in that love/hate relationship with the snow. It is pretty and looks like fun but you get out there and it is cold and hard to move in because of having to plow yourself thru it to get anywhere, it's hard work! We would get him allllll bundled up with lots of excitement and bounciness that comes with being a five year old and it is exhausting on my part getting him out the door to have him come back in 15 minutes later. But, they all do it when they are little. So, we played alot of Uno today, him and I.
The dryer and me are best friends right now. The kids go out and come back in soaked, I throw their stuff in the dryer and while it's drying they have another set they are putting on for another round. While the dryer is drying their clothes once it's dried they come back in to trade it off for the wet stuff. This goes on alllllll day long. So, the dryer and I have a real close bond right now. I need it, and it needs me to keep it going.
We have not been to school all week because of 'snow days', and another one tomorrow.
I had all my clients show yesterday so was a very busy day, we'll see what it will look like tomorrow?
Otherwise, doing some baking and enjoying being a little cabin bound with the boys.
Oh, just a little update on Jim....last night we talked around 9, he was in the process of trying to figure out how to do his laundry, this made me smile as I put my head to the pillow last night!
This is the entrance to our house when the snow just started coming down!
Always love the horses in the snow.
Ruby doin' a little jig for me!
Happy chickens, but no eggs!
First day of all smiles!

Haha! The dryer story made me laugh! I know I always say this... but its so true... YOU are such a great mom to your boys! They are so very blessed to have you as their mom. <3
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks beautiful! Such a fun time! Love the pictures of all the animals :)
We, too, are loving the snow ... but are a bit jealous of y'all down south that got MUCH more than we did up here in the northern corner of the state.

so much craziness. glad you have made friends with the dryer. A good ally indeed. In the mean time Chaney and I are trapped in about two feet of the white cold stuff and it's still coming down...it's been one day! AH!!!
