Trip to Arizona!

It's been a little while since I have been over to bloggie world. I miss those blogs that I keep my eyes on. I have some catchin' up to do!

Jim and I made a trip to see my parents, sister, nieces, and nephew in Arizona. I was fast and furious, got some good quality time in with my parents, good to see sister, and I fell in love with all of Tanz's kids! I really felt like dropping a tear when I left them. Meeting Levi for the 1st time and just really getting to know the girls, it was truely a BLAST! I loved every single minute of it. We did alot of playing with the folks. We played golf, mom and I got one really good eight mile hike in while dad and Jim went for a ride in the desert with the horses. Dad started us off with homemade sourdough pancakes every day, they were really good! Of course, no messin' around when he is in the process of creating them for he is a kitchen nazi when he's in there~ha! Went out to Tawnya's house and hung out with her for a bit so we could get some good sister time in. I really do miss that girl, she just lives too far away and now even moving further away to Texas. I went for a run each morning and Kysa rode her bike along side me. She sure is a darling, we had some good Aunt/niece time in.

Where were my sweethearts you say? They were home doing a great job holding down the fort all by themselves. If Brayden has a question he's just call me up, like..."hey mom, when I put this pizza in, do I leave the cardboard on the bottom of it?" uhhhhh, so glad he called me on that one! But they did great getting themselves off to school and doing the BIG LONG list of things to keep them very occupied. I was really proud of them. I have never left them for this long of a period, three full day! I didn't really worry one little bit.

Ok, so now for the pictures, ready set go!

Seriously, do you want to eat this little face? And look at this 'baby chick' hair he is sportin'!

Oh these girls, be still my heart!

We fell in love right away.

Sister Tanz, she is one great Momma!
Aren't these girls just beautiful?

Ok, you see, Jim could not keep his lips off of these girls either, I am not the only one!
These twins, they took right to Jim, even Miss Shy Myla didn't take long to warm up and start kissing on Uncle Jim.

Mom and I enjoying our hike. It was a sweet time.

My Momma and Me!

Dad and I

My 'other parents', who live right down the road from my parents.
Do I look free as a bird?

And....... I saved this because you always save the best for last right? This picture I can't get enough of it. Do, you love the buns and the cowboy boots? I think I want to eat these girls, EAT THEM!

It's a day to show your love.....

A few events happening around here:

Jim came home, a surprise! Not sure when or if he has to go back but since he's been home we have had an anniversary, 21 years. We went to lunch while kids were at school. We had some catchin' up to do, so it was good.

Our house is a bit of a mess, I've been doing alot of painting and moving furniture around to get carpets stretched back out and cleaned. But, it's all coming together.

We have been busy at cleaning our branches up. This is what we have been doing in any spare time at the moment. It's looking much better.
taking a break Brayden?

My dad sent me my 'valentine' with a card that made me tear up. He always makes me feel special on valentine's day. He sent me some new pajamas that are way soft.

Oh, and then a big surprise at my door step this week. My dear friend Tina sent me CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES??? Yuuuu-ummmm! The kids were all over it and I made them get back and watch me as I sunk my teeth right into it and enjoyed every last bite. Then I shared, (I think that was nice of me) They were beautiful and again made me feel very special.

Layton and Brayden came up to me last night, "we want to go to Safeway," my response was, "WHAT FOR?" Layton just looks at me with this blank stare, Brayden, kind of under his breath loud enough for me to hear, "you will like it!"Ok, so off they went....and came back with this!

So, this last week, I have felt so very loved! I am a blessed girl, yes I am!
